Yerong Creek Public School is a small school central to much community interaction. The school is supported by an active Parents and Citizens Association, School Council and the community in general. Our curriculum has a strong emphasis on literacy and numeracy, as well as the development of shared decision making skills and responsibility among students.
Our school provides a positive and rewarding education for children in multi-age classes, developing students academically, socially and emotionally. Yerong Creek Public School is actively involved in the Greater Kengal Network of schools. The students particpate in sporting, cultural and academic events with students from Milbrulong, Pleasant Hills, Boree Creek and Mangoplah Public School. The staff from the five schools join together for professional learning opportunities.
